Our story

Operators first.
Builders, too.

Practical tools, shaped by the work of running restaurants.

We run restaurants too

We are Subway® franchisees and operators. We started in the business in 1986. It’s a family-run organization, with parents Joe and Kris Nonnamaker sharing the operating duties with their sons Will and Wayne Nonnamaker. We face the same daily work you face: helping our people succeed, keeping restaurants ready, watching food and labor, and making sure the details get handled. HoneyHero is built around that work, with practical tools for the people responsible for getting it done.

Why we started building

Restaurant management brings a lot of small, recurring jobs. Temperatures need to be recorded, products need to be dated, schedules need to be adjusted, and managers need to know what still needs attention. We started building tools to make that work easier to organize and follow. The goal has always been usefulness in the restaurant, with information people can act on.

Start where it helps

You can start with something straightforward, like temperature logs or product dating, and build from there. Add other parts as they become useful to your team—whether that means food planning, labor, people, or daily operations. We want adoption to happen at a practical pace, with each tool earning its place in the way you run your restaurants.
